In any event, the writer adds, the codominion of the New Hebrides must cease, the islands being divided.

Melbourne, Juno 7. Tho Houso has agreed to open its sittings with prayer. Mr O’Malloy, of Tasmania, gave notice of motion that in the interest of State navigation it is desirable that Government prohibit foreign steamship companies manned by colored or white labor carrying passengers or goods between Commonwealth ports.
