PROPOSED EXCURSION ABANDONED.
THE ELINGAMITE. Wo arc requested by Messrs Common, Shelton and Co., tho local agents for Messrs Huddart-Parker and Co., to draw tho attention of intending passengers to Auckland on Saturday next to the advisability of booking early in order to secure accommodation and avoid disappointment. Tho Elingamito is sure to bo taxed to her uttermost, and those booking early will be first provided for,
THE MARAROA.
The s.s. Mararoa leaves Sydney on Tuesday, 11th inst., a day ahead of time, and leaves Auckland on Saturday evening, 15th inst., direct for Wellington, with the Royal squadron.
THE WAIHORA.
Tho Waihora leaves Auckland on Monday, Juno 17th, instead of'the Mararoa, and arrives here on Tuesday, leaving for •South at 5 p.ui.; there will therefore bo no steamer for South on Sunday, June 10th, and consequently the proposed excursion in the Bay will not take place.
