A RECORD FINANCIAL YEAR. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch,- last night. At the annual meeting of the Canterbury Jockey Club the report showed receipts amounting to £28,454 —a record for the Club —and expenditure £28,552., Of the receipts £4805 had been received from nominations and acceptances, £7282 from race receipts, and £12,447 from tho totalisator. Tho principal items of oxponditure were the stakes (£19,165), attendance at meetings (£1098)) and totalizator tax (£1051).
