The Assembly of tho Church of Scotland by 168 votes to 146 adopted a report declaring that an alteration in tho Confession of Faith requires Parliamentary legislation. Dr Cameron Locs, Dean of tho Chapel Royal of Scotland, and minister of St. Giles’ Cathedral, Edinburgh, expressed strong dissent to the decision.
