May Meeting was held in boisterous weather, which interfered with the attendance and comfort ; £4847 was put through against £5048 10s last year. The results were : Hurdles, 70 sovs ; 1-J miles : Dundee 1, Slumberer 2, Pipi 3. Four others ran. Won by nearly .a length. Time, 3.37. Div., £2 6s. First Hack, 6 furlongs : Serf 1, Silver Rupee 2, Fighting Mao 3. Won by a head. Time, 1.21£. Div., £4 14s. Birthday Handicap, 1-| miles Nihilist 1, Pampero 2, Belligerent 3. . Cameo and Fulmen also started. Won by two lengths. Time, 2.22 2-5. Div., £3 6s. Maiden Plate, 1 mile: Blackpool 1, Silver Rupee 2, Zeehan 3. Won by a length and a-half. Time, 1.55 ; div., £2 16s.
Winter Welter, 7 furlongs: Brisa 1, Spider 2, Dong Tom 3. A Von by a length, Time, 1.371-5 ; div., £7 18s.
Selling Race, 7 furlongs: Marema 1, Witchcraft 2, Hippomenes 3. Won from end to end. Time, 1.40 ; div., £1 18s. Tradesmen’s Handicap, 6 furlongs : St Denis 1, Hypnotist 2, Tsarita 3. "Won by a length and a-half. Div., £3 10s.
