An alteration of the mail service from Port Awanui to Hick's Bay has been made, extending the service from fortnightly to weekly between Te Araroa and Hick s Bay, and giving a weekly mail right through. There is now a bi-weekly service from Gisborne to Tolago Bay, and a weekly service from Tolago Bay right through to Hick’s A Post Otlice is to bo opened at Kunakanae, even miles f rom Te Karaka. 3.
