THOUSAND MEN OUT FROM MORT’S DOCK.
MECHANICS JOIN LABORERS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, May 20. A thousand men have struck at Mort’s dock. The laborers demanded a minimum wage of seven shillings, and the mechanics sympathising with them joined in the strike.
