COLLAPSE OF DREDGING BOOM.

Beach Bredging Company, as only offers were received for £230 of the £ISOO required to be raised by debentures, it was resolved to go into liquidation. . Dredging Returns : Nevis: 12oz 12dwt ; Inch Valley, 14oz sdwt. ROYAL RECEPTION. The Gommittee to-night having received an assurance' that the finance of tho proposed statute to Queen Victoria is assured, decided to ask Lord Ranfurly to replace in tho Dunedin programme of the Duke’s visit the ceremony of laying the foundation atone of the statue.
