The men were afterwards entertaiued by the Hons, Ward and Walker. The Hon. J. G. Ward has had several interviews with Mr Mulock, Postmaster. General of Canada, on trade affairs between New Zealand ani Canada.

At the press social, Mr Vincent, of the Times, and Mr Triggs, of Christchurch, supported the toast of “ Our Hosts, the Commonwealth Ministers,” to which the Hon. E. Barton responded.
