Trooper Thomson Injured.

Captain "TmomsAH, at Gfa. borne, yesterday received g, comfiluniuSvlfiS from his son, Trooper J. Thomson, stating that the latter is in the'Blomfontein Hospital. The trooper had his horse shot under him, and three of the trooper’s ribs were broken and his lungs injured. Captain Thomson naturally wants to know why the authorities had not previously conveyed this distressing news to him. It is to be hoped, however, that more cheerful news in regard to the patient will soon be received.
