FIGHTING IN NEW CALEDONIA.

The Tonho Chief Aman and liis warriors, reinforced by Kanakas, attacked numbers of little villages of friendly natives near Kokin, and liavo • gone pillaging and burning. They killed a chief named Licnand, and arc taking men, women, and children to tho mountains. Energetic measures uro being taken to stop the rebellion, and a military contingent Jmvo been sent to tho scene.
