An alteration o£ the mail service from Port Awanui to Uiclt's Bay has been made, extending the service from fortnightly to weekly between Te Araroa and Hick's Bay, and giving a weeklv mail right through. There is now ii bi weekly service from Gisborne to Tolago Bay. and a weekly service from Tolago Bay right through to Hick's Bay. , A Post Office is to be opened at Kunakanue, even miles f rom Te Kanaka. 3.
