•Judgment was given in the Stipendiary Magistrate’s Court to-day in a test case in which J. R. Stensell, representing Foxton flax-millers, sued the Wellington and Manawatu Railway Company to test the right of the Company to charge hemp freights in excess of those plaintiff was charged on the Government lines. The Court held that plaintiff had a right' to recover £124 5s paid in excess of that required by statute,.' Leave to appeal was granted., 5
