His Honor Mr Justice Conolly sat in Chambers until after six o’clock last evening. He leaves for Auckland by the Moura this morning. Mr J. P. Clarke, District Secretary of the Masonic Grand Lodge (English Constitution), and Mr J. Carnie returned to Auckland this morning, At noon to day Mr J. Townley will be again installed Mayor of Gisborne. ,It is the intention of the Rev. Mr Paterson to deliver a course of lectures to young men during the winter months, and he will give the first of the series next Sunday evening. Somewhat of a record reign is reported from Tuturau. Mr Alexander Dickie has been a member of the local School Committee for thirty-three years and chairman for twenty-seven years,-
