The King’s Ambition.
OltE ATE ST INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION.
London, March IG. King Edward has resolved to signalize his reign by holding the greatest international exhibition on record in London in 1905. He already has privately invited plans and suggestions from experts in this class of work, but the scheme will not be officially launched for six months.
The principal difficulty is to provide a suitable site convenient to London, as Londoners would not tolerate the" absorption of Hyde Park for such a purpose. It is reported that King Edward already has been assured a guarantee fund of ten million dollars by a coterie of his millionaire friends.
