THE MORMONS.
ROUGH TIME IN CHRISTCHURCH. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. The Mormon delegates who have lately been holding meetings in various parts of the colony commenced operations here a fortnight ago, under the leadership, of Elders Brown, Wilson, and Duncan. At these meetings several disturbances have occurred. Last night the crowd became rowdy, and someone attempted to knock Wilson down. The elders took flight, followed by a hooting crowd of about five hundred people. Police protection had eventually to be given them to their place of abode.
