THE LIST CLOSES ON THURSDAY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London. April 21. The Bank of England invites applications for thirty millions of two and threequarters per cent Consols at 94=}, ranging pari passu with the previous issue. The or per cent, rate will obtain from April sth, 1903. The other thirty millions of the loan has already been placed. The list closes on Thursday neSt. The details of the loan cabled yesterday are continued. The great financial houses of London took a moiety of the loan solid, on the same terms as ordinary investors. .American bankers arc amongst the applicants for the balance.
