In the frozen meat market crossbred wethers and maiden ewes, Canterbury, at 4 3-16 d, Dunedin and Southland at 3 l-Bd, North Island at 3 l-16d. Lamb: Prime Canterbury, 5 8-Bd, fair average, including Dunedin, Southland, AVellington, and secondary Canterbury s>* d. New Zealaud beef, 180 to 220ibs, failaverage quality, is for ox fores 3 8-16 d, hinds 3Jd. River Plato: Crossbred or ’ merino wethers, heavy, 29-16 d, light 3 3-16 d. ' ' _ In wheat the markethas declined about sixpence, owing to American bears. It is now slightly recovering. Cargoes are dull of sale. The Afictorian Decembor-Fch-ruary shipments realised 29s 6d : March, 29s 3d. The lead imports for March woro 18,238 tons, from Australia, 6,634 tons. The exports wero 3,101 tons.
