A GOOD EXPERIMENT.

MUTUAL CONCILIATION. JOINT COMMITTEE OF EMPLOYERS AND EMPLOYED. (By Telegraph— Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. The Executive of the Trades and Labor Council has recommended the committee of that body to adopt the suggestion of the Employers' Association, that a joint committee representing each organisation should be established to deal with trado disputes, and so obviate reference to the Board of Conciliation. A general meeting of the Trades and Labour Council will be held to finally decide whether the suggestions of the employers should be accepted or not. The Employers’ Association has not met since the combined meeting between it and the delegates from the Trades Council, but it is practically unanimous in supporting the overtures made by its officers.' ■ ' ;
