By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, April 2. Sir John Quick is a candidate for the Speakership of the Federal House. Perth, April 2. Sir John Forrest is disappointed at the • result of tho elections. Only a third qf tho pcoplo voted at Perth and Fremantle, and the results give but a feeble indication of public opinion.
