Immediately the verdict was announced, thcro was tumultuous cheering in Court. The petitioner (Coningham) fell forward on tho table, sobbing. A moment later, with a loud cry, ho sprang towards Dr O’Haran. The latter evaded him. Coningham tripped, and fell, and then tho spectators seized him, tho petitioner meanwhile yelling, “ Let me at him 1” The jury added a rider that they did not think there was sufficient evidence to warrant a charge of conspiracy.
