OAMARU NEWS.

A SHOCKING AFFAIR, [by telegraph—press association.] Oamaru, last night. John McCormack, of Hampden, was committed for trial to-day on a charge of incest. THE WRECKED YACHT. The yacht Ariadne still lies in the same position, and, the sea having gone down considerably, she is not now being struck so heavily. The chance of refloating her is, however, a rather remote one. A preliminary enquiry was held by the Collector of Customs to-day, and the papers will be forwarded to Wellington.
