Thousands of swifts visited Tilba, New South Wales, the other day, the air being simply black with them, flying about from a few feet from the ground to an immense height. It was a pretty sight, lasting about an hour, when they disappeared southwards.
A few weeks ago,a watch was found at Loch Ard Gorge, which is supposed to have belonged to one of the victims of the wreck of the Loch Ard, which occurred oyer 23 years ago. During one week five watches were found in the shine locality. On one, strangely enough, llie glass was still unbroken, and the hands point to twelve o’clock,
