HOOLEY’S DECEPTION FOUND OUT.
(’Frisco Mail.) London, Jan. 30.
Ernest Tcrah Hooloy lias encountered another crushing financial blow. A year
ago he announced that he had secured a concession to work the Siborian goldfields owned by the Imperial Cabinet of the Czar. The shares wore not offered for public subscription, but to the value of five million dollars were privately taken up. The financial agent of the Russian Government has now issued a warning to British investors against being deceived by Hooley’s specious and alluring promises, as no concession can or would be granted to an alien, and Hooloy couhl
deal only with the existing Russian concessionaire, who failed to obtain a Russian purchaser. Hooley’s Siberian gold-fields stock-
loldcrs are clamoring for the return of heir money.
