A CONCILIATION CASE.

TI-IE SADDLERS’ UNION.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Wellington, last night. Some months ago, the Wellington Saddlers, Harness, Bridle, Collar, and Bagmakers’ Union appeared before the Conciliation Board in a case brought against, three City employers. The result of that Hoaring was that the Union was instructed to attach the names of all employers hi trade within Wellington Industrial District Union. Then it sent a copy of the agreement to each of the country employers, and as some forty of these had signed the agreement and twenty-seven had declined to do so, the Union this morning brought a case against the 'twenty-seven before the Board. The recommendation of the Board is simply that the employers cited should sign the agreement entered into by the others.
