Ivruitzingor was driven across the railway line. DoWct is hard prossed in the direction of Faureslnith.
DcWet has no guns with him. Parties of Boers, 200 and 400 strong, occupy positions at ltouxvillo and Bushmon’s Kopje. Steyn is at Smithfiold.
BALFOUR CONFIRMS THE REPORT AS TC BOTHA.
WILL NOT DISCLOSE FURTHER.

In tho llouso of Commons, Mr Balfour, replying to Mr Banncrmau, confirmed the report that Botha was in communication with Lord Kitchener; but Mr Balfour added that ho was unable now to make any further statement in the matter.
