ARRIVAL IN AUCKLAND,

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, last night. The steamer Ventura, from San Francisco, arrived early this evening. Mr Spreekels, of the Oceanic Steamship Company, is among the passengers. The Huddart-Parkor Company’s steamer Elingamite left Auckland at 3.40 this afternoon, and tho Southern portion of the ’Frisco mail will therefore be forwarded by the West Coast, reaching Gisborne on Saturday morning. The. Takapuna left to-night with the Southern portion of tho ’Frisco mail.
