TOURIST TRAFFIC.

Mr Knox, of Waikari, arrived in Wairoa the other day with a party of tourists for Waikaremoana, including Mr Guthrie-Sinith, of Tutira, and friends fi’om America. Mr Knox informs us that the new road to Napier is improving every week. The work of erecting culverts is proceeding, and whore they have not been placed in position temporary ones have been made. Mr P. Gallagher, the engineer in charge of the road, is doing all lie can to bring about the completion of the road. Mr Knox returned to Napier this morning to bring through another tourist party, who will aurive here next week.—Wairoa Guardian.
