The now Governor of Wcstralia accompanies tho Duke and Duchess of York on tho Opliir.

Sydnoy, Feb. 26. Mr Chamberlain has cabled to Lord Ilopctoun that tho timo allowod in connection with the Duke of York’s visit did not quite fall in with tho transit arrangements. In consoquenec, tho visits to Victoria and New South Wales have to be curtailed one day each, and to Now Zealand one or two days, to allow of arrival and departure on tho dates arranged.

WILL PROBABLY VISIT ROTORUA. Wellington, last night.

It is now announced that the Duko and Duchess of Cornwall will call first at Auckland, and then in turn at Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunodin. They will also probably go to Rotorua. Melbourne, Feb. 26.

Russia, Germany, and America will each send one worship to the Federal Parliament opening celebrations. Tho invited guests total about eight thousand.
