Betting is dull, tho ruling prices being as follows : Wakeful 8 to 1, Advance 7 to to 1, Watch Dog 8 to 1, Fulminato 10 to 1.

The Daily Telegraph warns speculators who are pinning faith and money on the New Zealand crack, Advance, and tho Sydney flyer, Fulminate, for tho Nowmarket Handicap, that a new record in the matter of weight will have to be established for either to win. Advanco is to carry 9.11, and Fulminato 9.10. Allowing for her sex, the latter is really conceding weight to the much-discussed visitor.
