Auction Sales.

Messrs Williams and Kettle lioid a clearing sale at tho residence of Mr W. Gentles, Te Arai, to-day, commencing at half-past eleven. Besides farm material, machinery, and live stock, the goodwill of lease of 54 acres, with five years to run, and dwellings, will also be offered, Mr A. F. Kennedy will officiate as auctioneer.

Messrs Common, Shelton, and Co. will hold their next wool sale on Friday next. Large entries of skins, hides, and tallow have been secured for the same sale. Instructed by tho Registrar, Messrs Wyllie and Mason will sell on March 6th a number of choice Kaiti properties, comprising in the aggregate sixteen acres. In another column will be found particulars of a sale to be held by Messrs Williams and Kettle on Juno 3rd by order of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, of 1055 acres, known as the Papakorokoro No. 1 Block. Conditions can bo seen at the office of Mr E. J. Chrisp, Lowe street, solicitor to the mortgagee. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received instructions from Messrs Reid and Bartram, whose lease is expiring, to hold a clearing sale on Wednesday, 13th March, when three thousand three hundred sheep, and a number of cattle and horses will be offered. Mr J. W. Bright will act as auctioneer.

Messrs Williams and Kettle and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company hold their usual stock sale at the Matawhero yards on Thursday. Both firms have large entries of cattle and sheep. At the Waerenga-a-hika yards on Thursday, March 14th, Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. will offer 4000 sheep and 200 head of cattle, as well as a number of draught horses,
