Frasertown.
(From Our Own Correspondent),
Tourists and others visiting our pretty township will not have cause to complain of the want of accommodation when the new Border Hotel is completed. The new hotel is a handsome two-storied structure, with balcony round two sides. The rooms are spacious and lofty, while the sine gua non of ample passage accommodation has not been overlooked. The building was designed by Mr Finch, of Napier. With the increased conveniences here, tho erection of the accommodation house at the Lake, for which tenders are out, and a comfortable half-way accommodation house at Makapua, tourists should find a trip to our beautiful Lake very different in point of comfort to what it was in the old days. A fine spacious store is also in course of construction for Mr Tunks, at the comer of Grey and Balance-streets, replacing the old structure which has done duty since 1873. Other buildings, among them a much-needed public library, are shortly to be erected, so that Frasertown may be said to have made ft fair start with the pew ceaturyi A -V
