SHIPPING.
Tho Union Co.’s Talune arrives from Anckland this evening, and leaves again for tho South, Tho Mount is due from the South to* morrow, and leaves for Auckland at 8 a.m. The schooner Awanui (Capt. Nicholas) arrived from Tairua yesterday morning with a cargo of timber. She left Tairua on Thursday, and put into Kawakawa windbound on Friday. Leaving Kawakawa on Saturday, she arrived at Tologa yesterday, and landed about 12,700 ft of timber for Mr W. 0. Skcot. She brought 7739 ft for Messrs Mackrcll and Colley, 7090 ft for Messrs Kennedy and Evans, and 54,191 ft for Mr W. O. Skcot. She is expected to leave again for the coast on Friday. Tho schooner Waiapu (Captain Martin) left for the coast at daylight yesterday. Messrs Kennedy and Evans are in receipt of telegraphic advice that their new bargo, tho Taitai, left Whangaroa on Saturday for this port. She brings 100,000 foot of timber. Tho Huddart-Parkcr Co.’s steamer Elingamite arrives from the South on Saturday morning and leaves for Auckland and Sydney at midnight. Tho first launch will ioavo tho wharf on her arrival about 8 a.m. There will bo a special launch for passengers at 7 p.in., and another at 12 p.m., at which hour the Elingamite sails for Auckland. Tho three-masted scow Uroroa arrived yesterday, with three hundred tons of coal for Messrs Konncdy and Evans.
TELEGRAPHIC SHIPPING. Auckland. —Arrived, Talune, from Sydnoy, no passengers for Gisborne; 9.15 a.m., Dalhousie, from Melbourne, with tho Indian troops. Lyttelton.-—Arrived, Toroa, from Chatham Islands.
Port Chalmers. —Arrived at hoads for orders, barque Media, from South Africa.
