N.Z. Educational Institute.

PROPOSED CAPITATION BONUS. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, last night. At the meeting of the Auckland Branch of the New Zealand Educational Institute it was decided to write to Mr Grundy, of Wellington, and the Minister of Education, informing them that the Auckland teachers were neither dissatisfied nor satisfied with regard to the proposed distribution of capitation bonuses, as they know nothing of it, and asking the Minister to expedite the distribution of the same, and also with a view to removing all misapprehension to forward to the district institute a detailed copy of the proposed additions.
