Mararoa (Captain Phillips) arrived from Sydney and Auckland at 11.15 yesterday morning, after the smart run of 201 hours from the latter port. Passenger list: —lnward : Mrs Massey, Misses Matheson, Martin, Cox, Ramson, Dickerson, Cowan ; Messrs Emanuel, Martin, Massey, Fry, Pearsc, Oxley, Ramson, Johnston, Chisscll, Dunnington, Beach, Crooks, Cook, and Bruce. The Fanny (Captain Petersen) left at noon yesterday for Napier with 32 sacks of grass-seed from Messrs Williams and Kettle, Limited, and one passenger, Mr AV. E. AViig. She is cxsccted to return on Saturday.
The schooner AVaiapu (Captain Martin) left for the coast yesterday to load wool for the Grace llarwar. The s.s. Mararoa left for Napier and southern ports last night, taking the following passengers : —Mcsdames Kells and child, flees, Pal hint and boy, Rainbow ; Misses Henderson. Evans, Cruicksliauk, Green, Andrews, Dunn, Palmer (2), Maekio, Wilkinson, Wright, Ryan, Black, Maclean (2), Bulstvodc, Hall, Nolan, Rainbow, Piric: Messrs Finn, MeConviljc, Morrison, Hohlon, Stuart, Field, Gray, Leonard, Camplin, Gray, McLean, Burkett, Hampton, O'Connor, Rev. C. 11. Garland, Macfarlaue, Walklcy, AVillock, Healc, DcLautour, Williams, Seymour, Loiscl, Jennings, Dodgslmn, Murphy (2), Johnson, R. Johnston. The Union Co.’s s.s.
