FUNERAL OF HER LATE_ MAJESTY. A MONSTER MEMORIAL SERVICE Will be held at THE BELFRY, Gladstone Road (Should the weather prove unsuitable, the Service will be held iu the Theatre Royal), At 3 o’clock p.m,, on SATURDAY, February 2, 1901. Ministers of all denominations will take part in the Service. Hymn sheets will be distributed and the music supplied by the Bands. Ample seating accommodation will be provided for ladies and children. In order to make the Service impressive and the gathering a representative one, it has been decided to hold a PROCESSION, starting from the Turanganui Bridge at 2.30 p.m., in which the following will take part:— Public Bodies, including the Borough Council, County Council, Harbor. Board, Whataupoko, Kaiti, and other Hoad Boards. Civil Service, consisting of Judicial, Post and Telegraph, Land and Survey, Customs, and other Departments. Volunteers —The East Coast' Mounted Rifles, the Gisborne Rifles, and the Gisborne Cadet Corps. Bands—City and Whataupoko Bands. Friendly Societies—United Ancient Order of Druids, Ancient Order of Foresters, Independent Order of Oddfellows, American Order of Oddfellows, arid Rechabites. ~ Fire Brigade. Athletic Associations—Rowing;"' Football, Cycling, and any others. Any other Association or Society that can | attend. ■ - • \
EVERYONE INVITED TO , ATTEND. Marshals of Procession: His Worship the Mayor and Captain Winter.
