The Old Mill, Queen street, Auckland, has been sold by the Stock Exchange Company to Mr Duncan E. Clerk, for £IB,OOO.
The thunderstorms have been unusually severe in the Te Puke district lately, two horses and a cow being killed by lightning. In response to a petition from 111 ratepayers, the Tauranga County Council has decided to take a poll under the Rating on Unimproved Yalues Act.
