Serious Charges.
A DOCTOR COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Nelson, last night. Dr. A. J. Legget was committed for trial to-day on a charge of making an illegal operation on a young woman. Reuben Snowden was also committed for trial on a charge of paying the young woman concerned a sum of money for tho purpose of procuring the operation alleged to havo been performed. Both the accused were admitted to bail.
