■ The following are the acceptances for the Wellington Cup, 650 sovs, 1J miles: Boreas, Fulmen, Tortulla, Occur de Lion, Eenown, Ideal, Paladin, Materoa, Palaver, Skobelofi, Fashion, Field Bose, and'Kahuwai. HOKITIKA RACING CLUB’S MEETING, [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Hokitika, last night. The weather again came on wet, but the stewards decided to proceed with the races. The course was heavy from to-day’s rain. Stafford’Handicap : Seabreeze 1, Shaughran 2, National 3. Martino also ran. Seabreeze made the running throughout, and won by over two lengths. Time, lmin 26 2-5 sec. Div., £2. Stewards’ Handicap, one mile: Bimetallist 1, Petroline 2, Skirmisher ,3. Only starters. A capital race,' but won at the finish by three lengths. Time, lmin 52Jsec. Div., £3 16s. Hurdles Handicap, one mile and threequarters: Derry 1, Nayborn 2. The only starters. Won comfortably. Time, 3min 42 l-ssec. Div., £llos. attendance waa upwards of 100 Q.
