THE SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.
Up to an early hour this morning there was no sign in Auckland of the San Francisco mail steamer Sierra. She left the Golden Gate on December 14th, and is now. twentyone days out. The Sierra was expected to accomplish the passage in seventeen days, and it is surmised there has bern a breakdown in the engine-room.
