At Waerenga-a-hika yesterday, at the residence of Mr Barrow, a popular young couple were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, • the contracting parties being Mr Frederick Thomas Steele (formerly of Gisborne, and now of Auckland;, and Miss Ann Somervell Colley, a young lady who. is highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. The ceremony was conducted by the Bev. J. G. Paterson. The bride was given away by her stepfather, Mr W. Barrow ; Miss Janie Colley, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and Mr L. Steele, brother of the bridegroom, was groomsman. The bride wa3 attired in a handsome travelling costume of grey color, trimmed with surah silk and lace,-and carried a shower bouquet. The bridesmaid was attired in a costume of white muslin, insertion and satin trimmings, and also carried a pretty shower bouquet. Among the guests present were Mr and Mrs J. W. Watton, the lady being attired in a check costume; Mr and Mrs Steele; sen., the latter in a dress of black lustre; Mrs Barrow, black silk ; Miss Steele, white muslin, with buttercup trimmings ; Miss 11. Steele, white muslin; Miss Taylor, fawn costume, trimmed with white ; Mr 3 A. Steele, white silk and heliotrope trimmings; Mrs A. Thomson, fawn costume: Mrs Paterson, silk costume ; and Miss Violet Banks, white muslin. The yonng couple leave for Auckland this morning, and have the heartiest congratulations and good wishes for their happiness and prosperity,
