REPORT ON FIRE ESCAPES IN DISTRICT HOTELS REQUESTED
A report on the progress of work required to be done following a direction by the committee at its September meeting was sought by the Gisborne Licensing Committee at its quarterly meeting yesterday. The {lirections cover compliance with the egress code, and the provision of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
The committee directed the inspector of licensed premises to present a report to the committee's next meeting in March on the progress of the work.
