CESSATION OF WORK IN PORIRUA AREA
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Sept. 22. Carpenters engaged on State transit houses at Porirua ceased work yesterday as they considered the houses under construction to be sub-standard. There are two blocks of houses, each containing four units, being built.
