MRS. E. WILLIAMSON. Miss U. Crosswell and Mr. J. Lyle represented the Gisborne members of the Master Ladies’ Hairdressing Association, Auckland Province, at a conference held recently in Rotorua. MR. L. A. POOLE lias been appointed assistant Director uf Forestry, in succession to Mr. N. J. Delamore. who is retiring next month. Mr. Poole is at present director of the Botany Division of the D.S. and I.R. Mr. Poole, who was born in Gisborne, is 42 years of age.—P.A.
