INQUIRY INTO PLANE CRASH.

A board of inquiry has been appointed and will hold a public hearing into the circumstances, and causes of the accident to a Whitney Straight aircraft belonging to the Canterbury Aero Club which crashed on June 26 at North Loburn causing the deaths of the pilot, Mr. J. R. Kingan, Rakaia. and two passengers, Mr. H. Mead. Rakaia, and Mr. G. Brown, Seaview, Ashburton. Members of the board are Mr. R. Ferner, S.M., chairman, Mr. J. H. M. Smith, instructor to the Nelson Aero Club, and Squadron Leader A. L, Parlane, A.F.C., Wigram.
