SUDDEN DEATH ON GOLF LINKS OF NELSON SCHOOLMASTER

(P.A.) NELSON. Sept. 18. The death of Mr. Arthur Alloo, aged 58. occurred suddenly on the Nelson golf links on Saturday afternoon. Mr. .Alloo attended the Otago Boys’ High School and started his school teaching career in Dunedin, where he was wellknown as an Otago and New Zealand cricket representative. He taught at the Macandrew Road and Albany Street Schools before becoming headmaster of North-east Harbour School. He transferred to Granity in 1934 and about 12 years ago came to Nelson as headmaster of the Auckland Point School. During the past few years he had been headmaster of Nelson Central. His wife predeceased him some years ago.
