DRIVERS’ ATTITUDE

(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Sept. 14 The secretary of the Wellington Drivers’ Union, Mr. T. Magee, said today that as far as cargo in the Wellington wharf sheds was concerned members of his union would only carry out their normal duties, which included stacking goods on their trucks and driving it away. It was not their job. he said, to load the goods on to the trucks and they would not consider encroaching on other men's work by doing so.
