Good Programme Of Soccer Arranged For Saturday
Three good soccer games should be seen at the Childers Road Reserve on Saturday On the No. I ground, Gisborne Thistle meet United of Upper Hutt, but a contest between a team from H.M.N.Z.S. Vcryan Bay and a P.B. eleven may take the interest. However, the latter game is not definite for the vessel may not arrive at Gisborne in time. The P.B. team, which has been selected from all Gisborne teams except Thistle, is:—Mulrooney, Rrarisen. (Eastern Union). Carr (Rangers), Walker (Eastern Union). Waugh (Wanderers). Murray (Rangers), Sheffield (Eastern Union), Sewell (Wanderers), Twaddle (Eastern Union). Neilson (Wanderers), Hepburn (Rangers). Reserve: Morrow (Wanderers). The games for Saturday are:— Senior. —At 2.30 p.m.: Thistle v. Upper Hutt United, No. 1 ground ITutt Valiev referee. Poverty Bav v H.M.N.Z.S. Vcryan Bay, No. 2 ground. Mr. C. Booth. Junior. —At 1.15 p.m.: Thistle v Upper I-lutt United, No. 1 ground, Mr. B. Fletcher.
