WAIRARAPA UNION DECLINES CHALLENGES
(P.A.) AUCKLAND. Sept. 4. North Auckland’s special challenge for the Ranfurly Shield will not be accepted hv Wairarapa. In a interview from Greytown this afternoon the secretary of the union. Mr. H. A. McPhee, said: “We are not accepting any challenges this season. We are fully committed for the remainder of the month and are not in a position to arrange for extra fixtures.
