FITTERS AGAIN IDLE OVER BONUS DISPUTE AT PENROSE WORKS

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 5. Fifty-two fitters at the Penrose works of the New Zealand Glass Manufacturing Company Proprietary Limited are again idle today in a renewal of the bonus dispute which caused a stoppage of work for two weeks. Most fitters returned to work yesterday after a union meeting had been held, but it is reported that union officials informed them that this was unconstitutional because the officials were not present.

A meeting is to be held tomorrow morning with union officials present to take a vote on the issue.
